Pool ☆ Party

Hey lovelies!

Yesterday i attended a pool party with some of my classmates, Saga and Måns girlfriend Toby!

Swedish summers can be pretty warm, and yesterday definitely was! I honestly felt like I was in heaven when I entered the pool! Aaaahhh, I already miss it! The things I would do to have a pool...

So we bathed in the pool (I mostly just floated around on one of those big donut shaped things with a cool glass of Xide, it was lovely), had some homemade cakes and then made tacos for dinner!

After we had eaten we spent like two hours sitting in a circle and reading  Kropp & Knopp ("Body and head") out of Mimmi's old KP magazines ("Kamrat Posten" - "The Friend Post") and laughing. I had so much fun, and I hope we can do it again before this summer is over!

Summer Break!

Hiya!

So today I got out of school for the summer! Man, time flies! I mean, a year ago I was a freshman and now I'm done with 1/3 of high school! 

I'm so happy to get a break from school (for over two months!!), but I'm also a bit sad because I will miss my classmates a lot! But we'll have movie nights throughout the summer, so it won't be that bad!

One of my best friends, Bel, is graduating tomorrow. I'm really happy and proud of her, but once again I'm also sad. I'm sad that I won't see her everyday in school anymore, and that she won't be spamming me with texts every time she wants to go smoking during class. I'm sad because I won't be able to give her a big hug or a slap on the butt when I spot her in the corridors. 

Having one of your best friends attending the same school as you is amazing, I tell ya. In 9th grade my other best friend, Linn, went to the same school as I, and now I've been in the same school as Bel for a year. And I'm so fucking sad to see her go so soon. 

But oh well! It's not like she'll disappear out of my life completely. We're gonna get old together and be douchebag old ladies who drinks too much and raises hell at the old-people-home (I actually have no idea what that is called in english, sorry mates).

But, sad things aside, what do I have planned for this summer?

Well, first of all I'm going to sleep alot. And I will sacrifice a lot of hours to plow through an endless amount of TV-shows, and also finish playing KH: Dream Drop Distance, KH1 and The Stick of Truth! I'll also, as I mentioned in my last post, attend a con, and also go on a roadtrip with my family through southern Sweden and to Copenhagen! I will also work for about three weeks, spend time with my friends and girlfriend, and hopefully consume a lot of alcohol! Cheers!

Chapped lips?

Lately I've had very dry lips, and I've been biting and picking at my lips until they start bleeding.
This got me worried, since me and Saga is having our 6 months anniversary this weekend, and I wouldn't want to have trashed lips by then! So I freaked.
But since my best friend Linn have the best timing ever, she made a DIY tutorial on how to make a lip scrub that will make your lips look like new! It really worked for me, so I'll put a link to it here so you guys can check it out in case you share my problem!

Linn and Nellie's British Adventures

Hey there!

So, a couple of days ago me and Linn returned from London!

It was a great trip that consisted mostly of shopping and being rude in swedish to the poor brits (who couldn't understand shit) when they walked into us at the subway stations. Best part of going abroad: you can tell them to suck your dick and they won't understand a thing. 

So, let's write some about the trip, then!

Day 1 - Airplanes and KFC

So the first day of our british adventures was spent mostly in an airplane, watching AHS: Coven and taking silly pictures on my Mac. 

Beautiful.

After taking ground, we took a cab to the hotel and admired the christmas-feeling it had!

It was so pretty!

After a quick rest at the room, we then headed out to grab some KFC!

The left pic is me actually enjoying the rain (I've just missed London a lot, even the rain...) and the right pic is just us being dumb and the glorious british flag!

Day 2 - Rise of the shopping

The second day was the first "real" day, I'd say. 

After waking up Linn by playing some Backstreet Boys (which then became our jam the whole trip) we went down to the hotel breakfast and was left speechless. The breakfast was glorious! It had scrambled eggs, muffins (they we're so fluffy, but without being dry. like clouds...), croissants, applepie-things, fruit, berries, everything! Damn, I miss that breakfast...

Anyway, after stuffing our faces with food, we headed out into the big city!

Our first stop was the shopping centre Trocadero at Picadilly Circus, since there lies a store called Tokyo Toys where they sell various anime things, some japanese fashion items, and circle lenses!

We both got a pair of circle lenses each, some cute tights, and I also got myself a titan mask (which I then became attached to my body, I swear)!

Then we went to Oxford Street and visited a few shops, and also spent a lot of time at Primark! Damn, do I love Primark.

I got a hat with cat ears, an ugly christmas sweater (that jingles!), a jeans dress and two knickers!

We also went to Claire's, where I got three ribbons for my hair!

We also had lunch at Starbucks, where our inner Blue Mountain State freaks came out and we tried to get them to write "Thad Castle" and "Alex Moran" on our cups. The result was... varied.

Yeah...

I tried wearing buns with my wig that day, but after a while I took the buns out since they began falling apart... 

I liked wearing buns, and I probably will wear it again!

Day 2 - Shopping: The sequel

First we headed out to Camden Town, and after looking through most of it we went to Picadilly Circus again.

At Camden we both got ourself matching pairs of white stay-ups, garterbelts and fancy cigarette cases!

When we got to Picadilly again, we went to Tokyo Toys once more where I got another pair of cute tights that I'd been contemplating the day before and also bought a set of japanese candy! Yum!

However, before we got to Picadilly we accidentally stumbled into China Town!

And man, China Town was great!

We found some really great stores which sold rilakkuma stuff, Dolly Wink, Diamond Lash, Palty, etc! We also visited a shop that had a purikura! Of course we took some pics!

We also got matching Rilakkuma lighters, and I bought three packages of false lashes (one from toyoepin, one from Dolly Wink, and one from Diamond Lash). However, one of the packages managed to fall out of my bag later that day... That was a bummer for sure...

That night we had dinner at a indian restaurant, and it was delicious! 

Day 3 - Going Home

We had to get up very early for our flight, so both of us were very tired... We spent the flight watching Perks of Being a Wallflower and sleeping...

When we got home I didn't have much time to rest before I had to head over to rehearsal with DAiZiES. Man, I almost fell asleep on the floor...

But, all in all, it was a great trip and I am very satisfied with it!

Gotland + Värnamo

Hey babes!

It's been a while, and I've been up to a lot so I've got some blogging to do!

This post will be about the trip to Gotland and Värnamo I did with Linn!

So me and Linn took the boat to the swedish island Gotland, where we stayed for three nights in the city Visby.

We had a great time investigating Visby, shopping, and watching American Horror Story: Asylym

After our time in Visby we took the boat back to the mainland to the city Värnamo!

The city itself wasn't very exciting, and we mostly watched Blue Mountain State at our hotel room...

However, we did go to the theme park "The World of Astrid Lindgren", which was a lot of fun!

The park consisted of small replicas of settings from different Astrid Lindgren stories like Pippi Longstocking, Brothers Lionheart, Ronja the Robber's Daughter, etc!

 My favourite parts of the park was a part called "The Little Land" where all the houses were really tiny (so I could pretend to be a titan), and the Brothers Lionheart part!

I'm actually a huge sucker for the Brothers Lionheart. I love that movie so much.

And then we went back home to Stockholm, and shortly after I went to the swedish convention NärCon! I'll write about NärCon eventually, but it'll have to wait for now!

Why am I so fascinated by horror movies

As I'm writing this i am extremely tired and kinda hungover and all I want is to sleep but I'm still fucking terrified over Sinister and Grave Encounters. 

Anyway! I'm trying to distract myself with blogging and talking to people on Skype and KiK, so here we go!

I watched Sinister and Grave Encounters two days ago, but I haven't had to sleep alone or be alone for a long time before now. So now when I'm all alone I feel really scared ;3;;

But! Yesterday I had a small get-together/"party"! Some of my old classmates came, as well as my dear friend Line ♥

So we drank and talked and it was nice ♥

Today was movie night with my babes Bel and Steph!

We watched Hercules and Hangover II and made tacos, and it was great ♥

I love the Hercules movie, it's so good! And Hades is just so great hahah ♥

Tomorrow I'm going to meet up with Oliver and Jacob, drummer and vocalist of my band, and do whatever. 

Lately my love for the swedish music duo Norlie&KKV has grown. I've always found them amazing, but lately I've just??? They're really fucking amazing.

Worst Blogger In the World

Yeah, I really fucking suck at updating.

But! Here's a post. In which I'm going to write a whole lot'a shit.

I don't think there's been anything special that's happened since I last updated (but I'm super tired atm so I might be wrong...). Though one thing is, me and my band have gotten started!

Last Friday there was the annual Japanese themed flea market in Stockholm, and of course me and my friends went! I didn't have a lot of money to spend, but I did get my hand on a lovely bunny hoodie from Super Lovers, a pair of tattoo tights, and a pair of small devil horn's!

Yesterday me and my mom went to Ikea to buy some new furniture for my room since we decided it needed to be redecorated, so yesterday and today have been spent building together Ikea furniture.... (I'm never going to be a builder)((never))

Or, well, of course I went to school today also! So here's my outfit for today!

I wore a dress from Super Lovers I got last christmas, and a pair of polka-dotted red ballerina shoes with a small heel, open toes and a ribbon in the front♥

♥ Secret Love ♥

So in Stockholm we have an Asian focused museum called the East Asian Museum, and they've been hosting an exhibition called Secret Love for a few months now. I've been curious on this exhibition since I heard about it, but I never got of my lazy bum to actually go see it. 

A few days ago, however, I discovered that the exhibition would be removed and replaced at the end of this month, and therefore I finally went to see it! And I dragged my lovely pearl Bel with me too ♥

And the exhibition was lovely! Filled with controversial photographs and paintings, videos, interviews and just lots of really cool things really!

We ended up staying longer than we anticipated at the museum, and took a look at some of the other exhibitions too before we went out to sit in the sun and watch the view.

When I got home afterwards I found a nice little surprise in the mail ~

And my new wig arrived the day prior, so I'm quite happy ♥

♥ Sweet 16 ♥

Heeey sweethearts! ♥

I'm really tired, but I figured I'd made a quick post about my birthday! ♥

So today was my 16th birthday!

I got roses from my family last evening since they didn't get the chance to even say good morning this morning. I always have to get up much earlier than the rest of my family, you see... 

Anyway, that was fine!

On my way to school, tho, I suddenly feel the presence of someone behind me. So I turn around, and there's Cecilie with a little candle saying "Congratulations, Nellie!" It were really sweet ♥

After that I just had a normal school day, really. 

Tho after my first class I ran up to my baby Linn's locker and gave her a cake I had baked the night prior, since she's having her birthday today aswell! ♥

After school me and Linn went to a café and shared a piece of cheesecake as to celebrate our birthday! I also got a cute piece of cake from her, I think they're called "Kissing-Cakes"? It was really sweet, because she said something like: "I got you one of those Kissing-Cakes since I like you so much" ♥

Later on that evening I went to dinner at the restaurant my older sister works at. The food was great, and when we got home I got some presents!

I got money from my grandmother and one of our old family friends, a gift card, more roses, a pair of Dr Marten's, new headphones and also 100 Euros for when me and my mother are going to Paris in April!

As for today's outfit, I choose to wear very bright and light clothes! Which is actually kind of unusual for me, since I almost always wear at least one black/dark garment... Anyhow, I liked it! 

Ahh, and tomorrow's Whie Day, right? So I've gotten gifts for the two girls that gave me chocolate on valentine's day ♥ Waaahh, it makes me feel like a real bishounen!!!

Pizzas and Piercings

Hiya lovelies! ♥

Been a while...

Well, I was in Dubai for a week, and then I've been so exhausted this whole week that I just haven't found the energy to blog... Until now!

This friday I had a very lovely evening with Line ♥

 We had to babysit my little sister, but she fell asleep rather early and thus we tried out the most disgusting green liquor ever. And then we went out to buy pizza. The pizza was delicious. 

It was really nice, cutting the pizzas with scissors and eating sloppy while talking with our mouths full! 

Line stayed quite late, and after she'd left I fell asleep really quickly...

Saturday I got up really early, because I was veryvery excited! You see, I was going to get my first piercing! 

So me and my mother went to the piercing studio, and I got my naval pierced! It hurt, but it weren't as painful as I thought it was going to be and I'm really happy with the result!

After I got my piercing done I took the underground into the city and met up with an old friend of mine whom I haven't met in ages! It was lovely ♥

I only had time to see her a quickie tho, because then I needed to get home and get ready for Linn's birthday party! 

I wore my little black dress with one shoulder strap and a pink bow around my waist, and also added my white stay-ups as a nice little detail ♥

I really liked this party outfit, so I'll probably wear it at my own birthday party next weekend haha!

However, me and Becca thought it would be hilarious if we turned up at Linn's place in sweatpants and sweatshirts.

And thus we did.

Anyhow, the party was great! We ate good food, had food fights (Becca almost succeeded in placing a mozarella in Olivers shirt!), watched Melodifestivalen and just had a very lovely time! I hope my own party will be just as great!

It's quite funny, because Linn's birthday is the same day as mine! 13th of March! Except she's a year younger, but hey! Still the same day.

And now, I have just been sitting on my ass doing nothing since I got home this morning.

I think I'm going to watch a live DVD with my boys (coughgazettecough) and then go help mom with dinner! Tacos ♥
